The 1UK Star Rating
The 1UK Star Rating is a selective recognition framework applied across the global luxury sector, including superyachts, private aviation, luxury property, charter services and associated industries.
It is not designed to categorise volume or popularity.
It exists to recognise genuine quality, integrity and long-term value across all types of luxury businesses.
Recognition is intentionally difficult to attain, and higher star levels require consistent excellence across multiple disciplines.

All companies are considered against a unified set of standards, adapted to their sector:

A company with a legitimate presence in its sector, demonstrating baseline credibility and relevance.

A business showing consistency in delivery and a clear understanding of professional standards.
⭐⭐⭐ 3 Star — Proven
A well-established company with a strong track record, delivering reliable quality and recognised within its market.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Star — Exceptional
A company operating at a high level across multiple assessment areas, demonstrating strong quality, refined positioning and clear responsibility in its operations.
This level reflects a significant achievement and is not widely attained.

A leading brand demonstrating excellence across all assessment areas, including outstanding delivery, elevated luxury positioning, responsible practices and meaningful contribution to its sector.
These companies represent the highest level of recognition within the 1UK framework.

Where possible, content is credited and sourced responsibly, with the intention of directing users to the original company or official channels.

About 1UK
1UK has its origins in one of the UK’s earliest web development and digital marketing initiatives, established in the early-1990s at a time when the commercial internet was still emerging (webpages did not even exist!) . Built on decades of experience in pioneering digital strategy, search visibility and online positioning, 1UK brings a long-standing understanding of how businesses are presented, discovered and evaluated online.
Over time, this technical foundation has been combined with direct industry experience within the luxury sector, particularly in yachting, brokerage and high-value asset marketing. This includes hands-on involvement in yacht sales as qualified brokers, charter agents, and working alongside leading brands and operators within the global superyacht, as well as working in luxury property and the aviation market.
This dual perspective — combining technical expertise in digital positioning with practical experience in luxury markets — underpins the 1UK recognition framework. It allows companies to be assessed not only on how they appear, but on the substance behind their offering, including quality, consistency, positioning and long-term value.
The 1UK Star Rating is therefore not based on automated metrics or public scoring, but on an informed, experience-led view of what constitutes genuine quality within the luxury sector.
